ABOUT
Acuarela de tango is an Argentine art group which is not confined to a particular artistic expression, but instead suggests a combination of all art forms. Formed by two restless and versatile artists, Ariel Perez (dancer and actror) and Margarita Plessas (fine artist and dancer), the group has as purpose to create performances, and productions in which music, singing, theater, cinema, literature, poetry together with visual arts are meeting in a public place (theater scene and any other artistic stages), with the purpose to create to the viewer the idea of a universe of endless possibilities and aesthetic and artistic potentials. For the creation of artistic events, the team works with professional dancers, actors, musicians and artists brought especially for the group from all around the world.

Acuarela de tango es una compañía Argentina de arte que no se limita a ninguna disciplina en particular, sino que se propone la fusión y la mixtura de todas las artes universales. Creada por dos artistas versátiles e inquietos como Ariel Pérez y Margarita Plessa, esta compañía propone la composición de obras, instalaciones o performances donde la música, el canto, la danza, el teatro, el cine, la poesía, la literatura y las artes plásticas se conjuguen en un espacio escénico con el fin de despertar en el espectador la idea de un universo infinito de posibles combinaciones estéticas y artísticas.
Para la creación de sus distintas propuestas creativas acuarela de tango cuenta con profesionales de primer nivel en su rubro artístico como así también, la participación de artistas invitados de otros países.

ARIEL PEREZ
Ariel Perez is an argentinian actor, dancer and folk singer. He started his professional life in 1990 as part of the Ballet Folclorico Nacional (the National Folkloric Ballet), debuting in the historic Colon Theatre of Buenos Aires. Sine then Ariel has worked in the most prestigious Casas de Tango (Tango shows) of Buenos Aires: Caño 14, Michelangelo, La Ventana, Esquina Carlos Gardel, to name a few, and he has toured around the world with many renown companies such as Mariano Mores, Tango X2 and Tango Seduccion. As an actor and dancer he featured in the movies 'Tango' by Carlos Saura and 'Evita' by Alan Parker. As a singer he was chosen by the Argentinean Embassy in China for the ShangaiExpo2010 and by the Compañia de Roberto Herrera for its 2011 tour. Since 2012 he has been 'Juan D'Arienzo' in the tango musical 'Chantecler' by Mora Godoy, which after a successful run in Buenos Aires is now beginning its international tour in the Chatelet Theatre in Paris. Ariel also has been a member of the selection panel of the most significant dance festivals of Argentina, such as the Mundial de Tango 2018 and 2019 in Buenos Aires, the Festival Nacional del Malambo de la Borde, the Festival Nacional de Folclore de Pre Cosquin en Cordoba, the competition Pelando Variacion, CONECTA 2X4 etc.
In 2013-14 created with Margarita Plessa the "Acuarela Company" and toured Cuba, Mexico, Peru and Greece with the show "Aires de Argentina" and the first show directed by him, the musical “Acuarela de Tango”.
Actor, bailarín y cantante popular argentino comienza su carrera profesional en 1990 integrando el Ballet Folclórico Nacional, debutando en el teatro Colon de Buenos Aires. Ha trabajado en las mas importantes casas de tango de Bs. As. como "caño 14", Michelangelo", "La Ventana", "Esquina Carlos Gardel" y " Catulo Tango". Integro las companias de "Mariano Mores", "Tango x 2", "Tango Seducción", “Pasiones Tango” entre otras , recorriendo gran parte del mundo. Actor y bailarín en las películas "Tango" dirigida por Carlos Saura y "Evita" dirigida por Alan Parker.
Actor en “El conventillo de la paloma”, dirigido por Santiago Doria, “El conventillo viviente”, dirigido por Adrián Blanco y “Sinfonía y sus visitantes”, dirigido por Marcelo Serre. Cantante de la embajada Argentina (Expo Shangai 2010), "Compania de Tango Argentino" de Roberto Herrera (Italia 2011) y “Pasiones argentinas” ( Honk Kong 2014). Desde el 2012 recorre el mundo con el musical "Chantecler" de Mora Godoy, dirigido por Stephen Rayne. Ariel fue tambien parte del jurado del Mundial de Tango en Argentina los años 2018 y 2019, al Festival Nacional de Folclore de Pre Cosquin en Cordoba, a la competicion Pelando Variacion, CONECTA 2X4 etc.
En el año 2013 con la necesidad de conjugar la actuación, el canto y la danza, crea su propio espectáculo Acuarelas de Tango junto a la bailarina y artista plástica Margarita Plessa, presentándolo en La Habana (Cuba), Metepec, Toluca y Tlaxcala (México), Lima (Perú), Atenas, Ikaria, Creta (Grecia).

MARGARITA PLESSA
Margarita Plessa was born in Athens in 1981. In 2004 she graduated with honors from the School of Fine arts, University of Genoa. From 2004 until 2006 she studied Stage Design and Performance Art in Maria Chaniotaki’s workshop. During the same time she took classes in Child Psychology and Didactics of Art in the School of Fine Arts, University of Athens. (Α.Σ.Κ.Τ.). She has been studying classical dance on the Vaganova system. Having studied modern and contemporary dance and contact, she was a volunteer performer in the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. Her interest in dances from Latin America took her to a professional level in Argentinean Tango and she became a member in the “Amor Latino” dancing group, created by dancer and choreographer Leonardo Gomez. Apart from dancing with them, she has stage design responsibilities and is the artistic director of the shows “Viaje en Latinoamerica”, and “Caminos de Tango”. Margarita the last two years living between Athens and Buenos Aires and she studying the postgraduate program “Contemporary dance trends” at the University Institute of Argentina (IUNA). From 2012 she dance with Ariel Perez and together they created the "Acuarela Company" and toured Cuba, Mexico, Peru and Greece with the show "Aires de Argentina" and the musical “Acuarela de Tango”. Margarita and Ariel from 2015 dance at concerts of the Contemporary Orchestra of the National Broadcasting Corporation ERT at the Badminton Theater of Athens. also at the shows of Tango en Eros company, performing in shows in Herodion (Τango por Piazzolla 2016), Pallas (Tango Love Stories 2017), Technopolis (Tango en Eros 2016), with the Compañia Tango Dinzel during their premiere in Greece in 2018, as well as whith the Orquesta Tipica La Juan d’ Arienzo (2017 Parnassos Philological Association) and the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra (2017) in Badminton Theatre (2015).
Margarita Plessa nació en Atenas (Grecia) en el año 1981. En el año 2003 se graduó con la máxima puntuación en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Génova (Italia). Siguió sus estudios en Pedagogia y Didáctica del arte en la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Atenas y en Escenografia, Vestuario y Historia de Teatro y Performance Art. Desde los 5 hasta los 18 años estudió danza clásica y moderna en la escuela de danza Vera-Regina Alexopoulou y siguió con danza contemporánea, contact, jazz y acrobacia en tela. En el año 2014 fue aceptada por el Instituto Universitario de Artes (IUNA) de Buenos Aires (Argentina), para seguir el posgrado “Tendencias Contemporaneas de la Danza”. Ha bailado con varias companias de baile, entre ellas, bailó en el espectaculo de coreografa estadunidense Maxine Heppner y con la compania de contact improvision KEN. En 2004 participo como performer en las Ceremonias de los Juegos Olimpicos en Atenas. En el año 2006 se dedicó al Tango Argentino. Los últimos cinco años fue bailarina principal y la Directora Artística de la compania de danza “Amor Latino Show” del coreógrafo y bailarín Leonardo Gómez. Margarita y Leonardo han bailado en importantes teatros y festivales de Grecia con los espectáculos: “Viaje en Latinoamérica” (2008) y “Caminos de Tango” (2009-2010). Desde el 2007 hasta el 2011 baila en los espectáculos de la compania Amor Latino en el latin club más famoso de Grecia Enzzo de Cuba. También ha bailado en la esquina Parnassos y Half Note Jazz club, en grandes hoteles de Grecia, festivales de Unesco, en Teatro Broadway de Atenas, etc. Representando el Tango Argentino fue invitada al programa musical de la televisión estatal griega “Stin igia sas”, al festival de la Unesco en la isla de Naxos y al festival “Encuentros de mitos” en Atenas, bajo el auspicio de la Embajada de Argentina. El 2013 junto al bailarin argentino Ariel Perez crean el espectaculo “Acuarelas de Tango”, una obra que conjuga musica, danza, canto y pintura. Dicho espectaculo se presento en Cuba, Mexico, Peru y Grecia. Con Ariel bailaron juntos en las companias como Tango en Eros, Rebetango, Compania Tango Dinzel, en muchos teatros de Grecia, entre ellos el Herodio, Pallas, Amfiteatro Apollon de Syros y tambien con La Orquesta Estatal de ERT en Badmington Theater, con La orquesta Tipica La Juan D' Arienzo en Parnassos etc.

NATALIA SOLEDAD PETSALIS
Natalia Soledad Gastal Petsalis was born on 23 January 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From an early age showed a keen interest in music, and at the age of 9 participated in choirs of children with global presence as the Coro Infanto-Juvenil de Colon (Entre Rios, Argentina). Particularly attracted to the traditional music of her homeland, at the age of 18 was already singing professionally as a soloist, playing tangos and milongas, and including in her repertoire Argentinian popular folk music (Zamba, Chacarera, Chamarrita, Chamarras, Chamame, Estilos, etc.) by combining the particular color of her contralto voice with the special language transmited in the traditional music of Argentina. She has collaborated with important musicians of the genre, such as, Roman Vergagni, Pablo Alessia, Juan Pablo Torelli, Joaquin Althabe, Juan Angel Martinez, the musical group "La tropilla de la zurda," among others. Currently resides in Europe, where she had the opportunity to work as a soloist with the Orchestra of Colours (Ορχήστρα των Χρωμάτων) under the direction of the Maestro Miltos Logiadis, in a concert tribute to Astor Piazzolla, likewise with renown artists such as Marios Strofalis, Lia Vissi, the Quintet "Tangarto", Gomez Trio, among others. She has created a duo with the guitarist and composer Michalis Sourvinos, with whom they have presented their works in Athens and in tours arround Greece. She has also formed a duo with the renown argentinian pianist, guitarist, bandoneonist, composer and arregnger Roman Gomez, with whom presents works of the tradictional music of Argentina (Tango and Folklore) in Athens and in Greece in general.
Natalia Soledad Petsalis Gastal nacio el 23 de enero de 1988 en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Desde muy temprana edad mostro un gran interes en la musica y a la edad de 9 anos participo en coros de ninos con presencia global como el coro Infanto-Juvenil de la Ciudad de Colon. Particularmente atraida por la musica tradicional de su tierra natal, a la edad de 18 anos, cantaba profesionalmente como solista interpretando Tangos y Milongas, e incluyendo en su repertorio musica folklorica popular argentina combinando el particular color de su voz contralto con el especial lenguaje transmitido en la musica tradicional argentina. Ha colaborado con importantes musicos del genero, tal como, Roman Vergagni, Pablo Alessia, Juan Pablo Torelli, Joaquin Althabe, Hernan Genovese, Juan Angel Martinez, Conjunto Musical "La Tropilla de la Zurda ", etc.
Actualmente, reside en Atenas (Grecia), en donde tuvo la oportunidad de colaborar, como cantante solista, con la Orquesta de los Colores bajo la direccion del Maestro Miltos Logiadis en un concierto dedicado a Astor Piazzolla, asi mismo con artistas de renombre, tales como Marios Strofalis, Lia Vissi, Orquesta de Tango "Tangarto", Gomez Trio, entre otros. Colabora actualmente con el eximio guitarrista y compositor Mihalis Sourvinos, con quien ha conformado un duo, cuyo trabajo ya ha sido presentado en la ciudad de Atenas, asi como tambien en giras alrededor de Grecia.
Asimismo, a conformado un dueto con el reconocido pianista, guitarrista, bandoneonista, compositor y arreglador argentino Roman Gomez, con quien presentan obras de musica tradicional de Argentina (Tango y Folklore) en la ciudad de Atenas y en Grecia en general. El ultimo año es integrante de la obra Acuarela de Tango.
KATERINA KOYRENTZI
She was born in Athens and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Her mother, a piano teacher, introduced her from a child in music.
He graduated in Piano at the National Conservatory of Athens. He learned classical singing with John Modino, from which he moved, and dealt with the modern songapprenticed to Julie Massino.
The voice and the talent of singing in six languages she speaks fluently, crossed the borders of our country, and found to live, create and recognize the value inartistic areas of Los Angeles, Miami and Moscow.
Recorded his first song and makes her first videoclip, in Los Angeles entitled «Baila Habibi», the music collection "Baila Habibi Compilation", which was released byTime Zone Records LA and Sony Music LA. Meanwhile, returns to Greece to complete her studies at the Law School of Athens. The restless artistic spirit leads her to the door of Eros Music of Stelios Fotiadis and leader of the group «Fata Morgana» as the singer of this. It comes, then, the second album titled "If love me" which was quite a hit and she begins to appear in many television shows.
Collaborated with leading Greek artists, composers and performers, as with George Xatzinasios, Yiannis Spanos, Theodore Xydia, Stefano Korkolis, David Nahmias, Michael Hadjigiannis, Natassa Theodoridou, Kostas Makedonas andmany others. Established in the art world with the enormously successful collaboration with leading composer Mimis Plessas, which establishes a cd with some of the biggestsuccesses of the composer, entitled "in Greek and Russian paths". This album was a great success in Russia. She moves to Moscow for five years and works therewith famous artists, such as Vladimir Preznikov and Natalia Podolskaya.
The life and her family lead back to Greece and recording their third album, entitled "Tonight I change my life" with lyrics of Alice Tori, released from Protasis Music ofNick Economou.
Katerina Kourentzis interprets impressively, songs of all genres.
Today, we find her to leading figures in alternative musical themes, which supports worthy with a repertoire of over three hours, traveling audiences worldwide, withfinal station, home.

ROMAN GOMEZ
From Buenos Aires, Argentina, Roman Gomez has moved to Athens on a permanent basis in September 2008. He has collaborated with musicians in various countries as France, Spain, Letonia, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, etc. Just to mention only Italy, he worked with Lucio Dalla, Edoardo de Angelis, Teatro del Sol, Daniele Sepe, Tony Esposito, Accademia di Santa Cecilia. He was playing tango at several festivals around Europe. In Greece he worked with the composer Marios Strofalis, Orchestra of Colors and Natalia S. Petsalis among others( ERT, Half Note, Kappa Theater).
His tango music embraces elements of Argentinian and Latin American folklore, while adopting free stylistic elements from jazz. In his improvisation and compositions, he possesses a unique creative blend of tango and modern classical music, with harmonic styling much like the style of Claude Debussy, Gerswhin and Bela Bartok. In addition, apart from being an excellent instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bandoneon), he is an outstanding composer and arranger. Recently he took part with his trio at Preveza Jazz Festival and at European Jazz Festival at Technopolis, Athens. Besides he is working in different projects with the award-winning soundtrack composer Marios Strofalis, with the conductor Yiannis Hadjiloizou, and others. This summer he was giving concerts in Rome, Naples, Cyprus, Rhodes, Corfu and he closed Megaro Gyzi's festival successfully.
Roman Gómez ha trabajado con músicos de varios países, como Francia, España, Letonia, Alemania, Italia, etc. Para mencionar sólo en Italia, ha trabajado con Lucio Dalla , Eduardo de Angelis, Lisa, Teatro del Sol, Daniele Sepe, Tony Esposito, Accademia di Santa Cecilia. Se ha presentado en numerosos festivales de tango y jazz en Europa. También da clases magistrales en Roma y Nápoles. En Grecia ha trabajado con Mario Strofalis, La Orquesta de los Colores con Natalia Petsalis, Philipos Pliatsikas, Arleta etc. Ademàs ha incursionado en la mùsica clàsica y se ha presentado en varias salas de concierto en Atenas (Galería Municipal de Arte, Galería de Pireo, Parnassus Ateneo), ERT, Half Note , teatro Kappa. En su particular modo de interpretar el tango incorpora elementos estilísticos del jazz, la mùsica tradicional sudamericana y brasilera tambièn. En sus improvisaciones y composiciones tambièn se nota la influencia de Debussy, Bartok y Bill Evans. Además de solista (tocando el piano, bandoneón y guitarra), es también compositor y arreglador. Recientemente participó en el Festival de Jazz en Preveza y en el Festival Europeo de Jazz en Tecnópolis en Grecia. Actualmente está trabajando en un proyecto en Grecia con el compositor y pianista Mario Strofalis (piano y acordeón) y Kostas Vlachopoulos (armónica cromática), también con el director chipriota Yiannis Hadjiloizou. El verano 2013 diò conciertos en Italia (Roma, Nápoles), Chipre y Grecia (Atenas, Rodas,Palacio Gkyzi Santorini) y desde el 2014 es integrante de la obra Acuarela de Tango.
